Successful Recovery from Rental Arrears Owed To Coffee Shop Owner
Our client who owns a coffee shop rented out a stall to western stall tenant. And despite countless reminders of owing the rental, the tenant showed no signs of repaying. Our client then got him to move out of the premise after owing so many months of rental in lieu of countless reminders.
After the tenant shifted out, our client came to us and spoke to us of the situation. We then took up the case and chased after the tenant, making site visits to the tenant's house. We also managed to trace down more of the debtor's particulars which were in favour of us. It was after 3 months of persistence, the debtor finally gave in and promised to make a repayment plan on a monthly basis.
We do accept repayment schedules if debtors are not able to pay lump sum (selectively to some debtors) who are able to show us suffice documentations in which they are really in bad shape. But nevertheless, a bad debt is still an outstanding payment that has to be paid and we will make sure the debtor pays promptly in time to repay the monies owed to my customer.
